About
Anna Madill specializes in qualitative methods with particular interest in social constructionist approaches. Her research is broadly in the field of 'well-being' and her current projects include research funded by the British Academy on Boys' Love manga. She is a Reader in the Institute of Psychological Sciences, University of Leeds and is the psychology contact for, and member of, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies. Anna Madill is a Chartered Psychologist, a Chartered Scientist, and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She Co-Founded and is Chair (2008-11) of the British Psychological Society Qualitative Methods in Psychology Section(http://www.bps.org.uk/qmip/qmip_home.cfm). Anna Madill is Associate Editor of the British Journal of Clinical Psychology and on the editorial boards of the British Journal of Social Psychology and the journal Qualitative Research in Psychology. She is a Member of Crohn's and Colitis UK 'Living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease' Research Awards Committee and is an International Affiliate of both the American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Society.
