About

I am currently working with "Closing the loop" between topdown quantitative and bottom-up qualitative approaches in assessments of climate change adaptation.

Previously I investigated vulnerability to drought in the Quantifying and Understanding the Earth System-Global Scale Impacts (QUEST-GSI) project.

My background is a BA in Education, MSc and PhD in Geography. Work and research experience ranges within rural development, soil science, agricultural extension and participatory research from several countries in Asia, e.g. Vietnam and China.

Research interests are environmental/climate change and rural land use dynamics, particularly related to impacts within the agricultural sector and food security.
