About

I studied BSc Biochemistry (International) at the University of Leeds from 2003-2007, obtaining an upper second class degree. During this time I also spent a year studying at the National University of Singapore in Professor R.M. Kini's group. My undergraduate project at Leeds was on screen printed carbon electrodes in Dr Paul Millner's lab.

Since 2007, I have been working on my PhD project with Dr Lars Jeuken in the Molecular & Nanoscale Physics group of the School of Physics & Astronomy, University of Leeds. This project is BBSRC funded CASE studentship in collaboration with Philips Research, Cambridge. We are investigating the use of supported bilayer lipid membranes as a biosensor platform.
