About
Jason Cabañes is a PhD student and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Leeds, where he is an ICS Scholar. He is also a Lecturer at the Department of Communication, Ateneo de Manila University. He finished both his degrees in AB Communication (magna cum laude) and MA Communication at ADMU. He had also been an ASEAN Research Fellow of the Asia Research Institute-National University of Singapore and a Research Consultant for The World Bank. His study on Filipino migrants’ identity performances online will appear in a forthcoming book to be published by the Asia Media and Information Centre, Singapore.
