Thesis Title: Illuminating the Court: Fifty-Five Years of Lighting Design at London's Royal Court Theatre
About
I graduated from University of Mary Washington with a BA in Theatre and have recently completed an MA by Research at University of Leeds. My MA research is concerned with the emergence of the lighting designer and the history of lighting design, specifically at the Royal Court Theatre in London.
In addition, I am anticipating starting a PhD in September 2012 at University of Leeds, researching the semiology and phenomenology of metaphoric and metonymic light in text-based theatre.
