About
Dr. Keon West is a social psychologist whose current research focuses on contact-based interventions (particularly extended and imagined contact interventions) designed to improve intergroup relations. He is currently working on an ESRC-funded project studying various types of imagined and extended contact and their effects.
Keon also has a keen interest in intergroup anxiety, and is currently engaged in collaborative multi-departmental research to investigate better models of intergroup anxiety.
As well as designing, conducting, and disseminating research, he also organizes lab meetings with Ph.D. and project students, and manages a team of research assistants.
