Lecturer in Audiology
About
Ruth completed her PhD and worked as a postdoctoral research fellow within the field of Autonomic Neuroscience prior to completing an MSc and clinical Scientist training in Audiology. Ruth joined the University as a lecturer in Audiology in January 2007. Her teaching includes audiological assessmet and disorders and vestibular disorders, assessment and rehabilitation. Ruth is also the Deputy Chair of the School of Healthcare Research Ethics Comittee.
Ruth's research interests include audio-vestibular anatomy, physiology and electrophysiological assessment techniques, in particular auditory steady state responses and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, and health information provision.
