About
My research project is aimed at examining the Iranian Diaspora post 11th of September through exploring their use of web 2.0 (Facebook, YouTube) and through the diasporic website, Iranian.com. I am interested in exploring the dynamics of being "hybrid" Iranian post 9/11 and how through the use of new media they are negotiating identity. Similarly, I am also interested in how sexuality is displayed and conversed online within the Iranian diaspora.
