Lecturer in Audiology
About
Ted worked as a clinical scientist (Audiology) in the NHS for seven years before joining the University as a lecturer in Audiology in January 2004. His teaching includes auditory and vestibular anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. He is also Chair of the British Academy of Audiology Education and Training Accreditation Committee.
Ted’s research interests include cochlear function, in particular developing a greater understanding of transient evoked otoacoustic emission (TEOAE) suppression mechanisms (including modelling suppression behaviours), and applying findings to clinical applications.
